speed
- wifi is faster than 3g usually but can be slowed down pending on how many devices you may have connected to the rooter and using it at the same time.
cost
- wifi is cheaper than 3g in the long run because with 3g you are paying for every bit of data you use and only you can constantly use it, whereas with wifi you can get more for your money because you pay monthly, also more than one device can use it also and can get better deals.
coverage
- 3g is better for coverage because you get it anywhere as long as you have signal but with wifi you can only use the wifi if you have the rooter password but with wifi you still get a better connection and service.
over all wifi in my opinion is a lot better because its more advance, you can get more use from it and its so much fatser. i prefer using wifi because mobile data ruins out in a short period or time whereas wifi is more reliable.

my wifi is protected by a password, to be able to connect to my rooter you must know this password which is usually provided by the company you're contracted with. the rooter usually have the password on the bottom of it and normally consist of various numbers and letters. another thing which protects my wifi is that is has a certain range you can be apart from the rooter to be connected.
my 3G is protected by WAP, WAP is an encription code which only allows mobile data to come back to my phone. having a phone lock is another way to protect my 3g because it doesn't allow strangers to go on my phone and access it. lastly a sim is another way to protect my 3g because that means when i pay for mobile data using that sim, it can only be sent to that sim.
To be safe from bluetooth hacks also name asbluejacking just turn the bluetooth off and if you turn it on pair with the device you want to send it to. Don't accept anyone you don't know even if it says you family's mates name it could be someone else trying to hack your phone.

Some safety issues with using blog site are keeping your password for blogger, don't stay on blogger.
You can make it safer by registration an email for your password so if you forget it you can go on your email and click forget password and you will get it.
You can also put in your settings that only you and your friends could see your post so no one you don't know will know what you are up to, they could be a stalker.
In your setting you can make sure no one can take your information and use it as themselves (copyright).
This is an example.

Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, that grants the creator of an original creation exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a limited time, with the intention of enabling the creator of intellectual wealth (e.g. a designer of a logo or an artist) to receive compensation for their work and be able to financially support themselves. So if someone would use their logo for their product, the creator of the logo could take them to court and sue them getting compensation.A trademark is a recognizable sign, design or expression which identifies products or services of a particular source from those of others. The trademark owner can be an individual, business organization, or any legal entity. A trademark may be located on a package, a label, a voucher or on the product itself. For the sake of corporate identity trademarks are also being displayed on company buildings. For example ‘Nike’ has a trademark, the tick is the sign of Nike and they sometimes would use it instead of the letters because it sometimes looks a lot nicer and more appealing to more people.Intellectual property (IP) is a legal concept which refers to creations of the mind for which exclusive rights are recognized. Under intellectual property law, owners are granted certain exclusive rights to a variety of intangible assets, such as musical, literary, and artistic works; discoveries and inventions; and words, phrases, symbols, and designs. Common types of intellectual property rights include copyright, trademarks, patents, industrial design rights, trade dress, and in some jurisdictions trade secrets. For example, if people would use a logo or the actual thing in a movie or a music video the maker would get a part in the money that they would make, so the creator would get a part of the profit. Most creators would let people put their product in a movie or a music video because it would be good business, some people might not know what the product would look like or what it is called but if they see it in a movie or music video people will know what they would look like and if they like how they look they would get some. This would increase the money that the creator would get and they might make more products so that they could make more money. You would need to know what all of these mean because if you make a look alike logo or product you could get sued and you would have to pay them money for a copyright sue. The first thing you want for your new product is not a copyright sue, it would look bad for the company and It would make people not buy your product because they wouldn’t like to buy a copycat product. So, you need to think of this while you are making a product.

threats and risks form using ict in a company:
- theft is a risk because when the computers are stolen the insurance can take a long duration of time which can put the company at risk of loosing valuable costumers and also when the insurance money comes it may not cover the cost of the computers to replace them. further more if the computers are taken the staff will be affected because there is no equipment or income coming in basically out of work.
-viruses corrupt files and damage the company's/costumers information, this leads the costumers not thinking the company is trust worthy to hold all their personal information. also the company may not be able to get all the information back if they never backed up the files in the first place.
-user error is to do with new employees, if the new employers aren't trained properly they may delete files and might not be able to get them back.
-corrupt file if it gets a virus and you don't have the work backed up may also not be backed and could of lost important information
