i think the delivery company should buy a smart phone with the £500. if they had an iphone they could ring the customer to see if they're in and also if they miss them they could leave a number for the customer. having an iphone would also be a good idea because you could download a satnav app which could direct you easily to the place. an iphone would cost around £42 per month. also buying a tablet with the £500 would be a good idea because you can also have an app which could log everything you've delivered and the customers can sign for their parcel.

3G

The term 3G refers to the third generation of mobile phone standards, as set by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). 3G technologies allow mobile operators to offer more service options to their users, including mobile broadband.

Recent 3G releases, often denoted 3.5G and 3.75, also provide mobile broadband access of several Mbit/s to smartphones and mobile modems in laptop computers.

3G finds application in wireless voice telephony, mobile Internet access, fixed wireless Internet access, video calls and mobile TV.

student that needs a phone with internet access should get the Samsung galaxy ace because it has a big screen easier to see and read more information also the browser is fast and loads very fast and is only £149.95

I found this on the carphone warehouse website
it also has these features

android v2.3 (gingerbread) OS
3.5-inch TFT Capacitive Touchscreen
5 MP Primary Camera
800 MHz ARM11 processor
2G and 3G network support
Expandable storage Capacity of 32 GB

A self employed builder who is new to technology and has £600 to spend on a laptop for invoicing should get:

acer aspire E1 core i5 Windows 8 Laptop in black, because it has wifi so you connect to the internet and has windows 8 so he can access all the programs he needs to do invoices.

I found this on the carphone warehouse website

it has a large screen 500 GB hard drive windows 8 home operating system and a 1 year warranty.

A journalist who needs a tablet for when hes on the move should get the ipad 4 because it has wifi so he could send articals ect through the internet or take pictures and videos for the artical. he can also send their work to the editor on the go. it also has these : I found this on the carphone warehouse website
this device has a 9.7 inch retina screen, bluetooth and a 5-megapixal isight camera. It also has video recording and face time camera . aswell at 10 hour internet surfing and 16GB memory .
this is a good effective device for the user because it has a long lasting battery so he can upload articals and read others. It also has 16 GB memory to save the artical to send them and keep them. the retina screen means he can view thing clearly is he is researching. the cameras are good because he can take pictures of thing for his articals and they will come out clear. the negatives about this product is there is now Microsoft word ect to create articals.

A factory worker that wants a MP3 player to listen to on the bus should get and Apple ipod touch it has:I found this on the apple website

this device has voice control so you can get it to play a song without having to search through all songs. It has built in volume control and speaker. It has wifi so the user could use the internet with an connection. and it also has Bluetooth to Bluetooth and receive files from other devices. It also has 40 hours of music playing and 8gb storage.

This device is quite effective, its good points are volume control and 8GB 40 hours of storage. this will be useful to the user, especiallyas they want to use it for music purposes. The negatives about this device is the wifi and bluetooth, yes these are good thing but the user dosent really need them and the wifi would only work if they had a connection in a certain rage and the bluetooth only work at a close range.

Identify why you think a blogsite is an effective means of communication within a large organisation. Use some of the features of Blogspot to illustrate your report.

I think blogger is an effective means of communication because, firstly its a free website. which means it cheap and it is also already set up so there is no need for spending ages setting it up. and the set up it's self is fast no need to mess around for ages with complicated setting, it takes 5 minutes and it's really simple.

Blogger also offer different setting and options such as the option to change the colour of your text, bullet points,  numbers, underling and bold. This means you can make your blog look better and easier to understand. also blogging means your work is on the internet and not wasting paper. This makes it environmentally friendly. posts on blogger will not be lost and will be there for years and years, this means it is less likely to be lost where as, on paper if it was lost or shredder then it is gone forever.

Posts on blogger are easily accessed which is great for big companies. Staff can easily access the work they need and fast. Also you can make comments on other peoples work so they can improve them or get advice or work.

you can also customize your blog so you can give permission to who can see access  and edit your blog. Also any posts made will be optimized for search engines, which means you can type in any key word and phrases in to a search engine and the post can be found.  Blogger is accessible through computer and apps for phone  and ipod. You can upload all types of files, such as documents, pictures  videos and sound files
