things to protect people:

social networking-
~ on social networking sites they have settings which you can make your account private and allows you to have power over who can view your post or images.
~ another setting that you are able to access for safety is the block button, this is a button that you can totally take control over and not let a certain person or account even see your name on their feed.
~ also the report button is something you can access to let the social networking site that their someone who is abusing the system and being disrespectful.
~obviously having a password is something to keep your account private and only allows you to access or edit your posts.

law-
~ the copyright law is a way to protect people and not let others be able to take credit for someone else hard work and time.
~ computer miss use act makes sure that  people can not not access your computer and private files but if they can they would be punished e.g. fined
~ driving without due care and attention is like an act that comes with common sense driving while texting is obviously going to be a distracting which could put other people at risk on the road so have the driving with care is something to make people aware to take care to protect others.
